Park triumphed over third-seeded Eastview In a Section 3AAAA Championship Bracket Semifinal at Cottage Grove Thursday, May 25.
The win puts the seventh-ranked Wolfpack (17-5) into the Championship bracket semifinals against top-seeded and No. 1 ranked Rosemount (21-0). That game is set for Tuesday, May 30 at Richfield Middle School.
Rosemount has rolled through its schedule this season, winning 16 of 21 games by double digits. The closest anyone to come to the Irish were a pair pf three-run contests.
The winners of the championship bracket and elimination bracket play Friday. June 2, in the section finals, also at Richfield Middle School.
In other Section 3AAAA championship semifinals, top-seeded Rosemount waxed fourth-seeded East Ridge 10-0.
Park 4, Hastings 3
Second-seeded Park edged visiting and seventh seeded Hastings 4-3 in the Section 3AAAA Championship Bracket Semifinals at Cottage Grove on Tuesday, May 23.
Stella Fritsche pitched the complete game and added three hits to help herself and the Wolfpack to the win.
Bri Lee, Emma Ambroz, Bryleigh Dana and Grace Conaway had hits along the way as well.
