The South Metro DFL Senior Caucus will meet virtually at noon on January 12. Invited speakers are Dakota County Commissioner Mary Hamann-Roland and Representative Robert Bierman (District 57A), who will present their perspectives on what the 2022 legislative session will bring. House District 54A candidate Paul Cumings is an invited special guest. Potential caucus resolution topics of interests to seniors also will be discussed.
The DFL Senior Caucus promotes active participation of Minnesota seniors in the political process, giving a voice to seniors in Minnesota elections and politics. The goal of the caucus is to affect public policy by bringing focus and accountability to senior issues, and by working to elect public officials who are aware of and committed to the concerns of Minnesota seniors.
