Reservations are now open for a fall StarWatch Event at Lake Elmo Park Reserve that will be held 8:30-10:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1. Make the stars your old friends while watching the great celestial show in the skies over Lake Elmo Park Reserve. Take a look at Jupiter, Saturn, and more celestial treasures. Get to know constellations such asThe Big Bear, Cygnus the Swan, Pegasus the Winged Horse, and some of the great stories behind them.Giant telescopes will be aimed to view star clusters, galaxies, and more. There will also be a videotelescope aimed at distant astronomical targets.The cost for the evening is $5 per person; a Washington County park vehicle permit is required, $7 dailyor $30 annually.
