Share your insights and perspectives on responding to the impacts of climate change in Washington County by taking a short survey, open now through Sep. 28.
Washington County is developing a Climate Action Plan through community input, research and analysis, and collaboration with experts and stakeholders. This plan will define the county’s role in climate action, outline action steps to reduce the county’s greenhouse gas emissions and illustrate strategies to adapt to the impacts of climate change.
The five- to seven-minute-long survey will help the county better understand the priorities of Washington County community members for future climate action. It is available atsurveymonkey.com/r/WashCoCAP.
In addition to the survey, community members are invited to apply to join the Community Advisory Group, which will be involved at key stages throughout the planning process and will shape the Climate Action Plan’s priorities and recommendations. This group will be composed of local government partners, community organizations, and individual community members.
Four community members will be selected to participate in the Community Advisory Group. To apply, complete this questionnaire by Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025.
