So as far as updates go, there just is not much to report on. The parting note will be giving credit where credit is due. One interesting thing about social media is when someone you least expect to roast a company, especially when that someone is a State Senator and the roast is straight savage, but Senator Karla Bigham did just that.
On Friday, April 2nd, Marathon Petroleum tweeted, “Happy Friday!!! Be Safe out there (Thumbs Up Emoji) #MarathonPetroleum (US Flag Emoji)” Senator Bigham replied with, “@MarathonPetroCo you know what would keep our district safe? Stop using scab workers and give @teamsters120 a fair contract! Solidarity! Keep our communities safe and stop outsourcing our MN jobs!” We did reach out to Senator Bigham to see if she was aware of any updates, she explained there were none yet, but stated she would keep us in the loop if anything develops.
