The Wolfpack had some individual successes but dropped three Suburban East Conference matches in boys tennis last week.
Park fell to White Bear Lake 5-3 last Tuesday at home, dropped a 6-1 decision at Roseville on Wednesday, then lost to Cretin-Derham Hall 4-3 Thursday.
Park’s winners against the Bears were Zach Wood and Cam Picasso at No. 1 doubles (4-6, 6-4, 7-5) and Liam Shannon and Shane Pnewski at No. 2 doubles (6-2, 6-0).
Colin Winkler was Park’s only winner against Roseville. Taking the No. 4 singles match 2-6, 6-2. 7-6 (7-3).
The Wolfpack then dropped a tough 4-3 decision to Cretin. Winning for Park were Dylan Conn at No. 2 singles (6-7, 7-6, 15-13), Tyler McKeague at No. 3 singles (6-0, 6-4) and Winkler at No. 4 singles (6-1, 6-4).
Thunderbolts fall in regular season finale
Host Dakota United took a 14-9 decision in adaptive softball over the South Washington County Thunderbolts Wednesday in the last game of the regular season.
The game was the Thunderbolts third straight loss following setbacks to Lakeville/Burnsville/Farmington and South Suburban. South Washington ended the regular season with a 3-5 overall record.
On Monday, South Washington County played Minnetonka/Wayzata at Minnetonka.
