It was quite the week for Park High athletes as boys basketball and wrestling both scored dramatic last-second victories, while the boys hockey team skated to a hard-fought 2-1 win over rival Woodbury.

But there were plenty of other Wolfpack sport actions as well.

The meet wrapped up the regular season for the Wolfpack. Rosemount ices Park girls in section opener

Park’s 2025-26 girls hockey season came to an end Wednesday in a 3-0 loss to host Rosemount in a Class 2A, Section 3 quarterfinal at Rosemount Community Center.

Second-seeded Rosemount led 1-0 after the first period and added two more goals in the second to secure the victory. The Irish advanced to a Section 3 semifinal date at Lakeville North but dropped a 1=0 decision to the third-seeded visitors.

Seventh-seeded Park ends the season 9-17 overall. The Wolfpack finished 3-13 in the Suburban East Conference.

Sophomore Hailey Garcia stopped 25 of 28 shots Wednesday. The Wolfpack outshot the Irish 37-25.

The Wolfpack had trouble putting the puck in the net most of the season, finishing with just 54 goals in 26 games.

Junior forward Stella Daly led Park in scoring with 15 goals this season. Two more junior forwards, Addie Corkish (10 assists) and Maleah McMorrow had eight goals. Corkish topped Park in assists (15) and points (25). Daly had 9 assists. Junior Alaina Post finished with 18 points.

With those four forwards all eligible to return next season, plus goalie Garcia, the outlook for Park girls hockey going forward is positive.

Girls' basketball team drops two

The Suburban East Conference continued to be a tough nut to crack for the Park Wolfpack Friday night as host White Bear Lake claimed a 42-35 victory.
