The Cottage Grove Random Runners spent a very hot and humid evening gathering trash on their adopted roadway - Jamaica Ave North between 70th street and Military Road. Although from a vehicle, it didn't look like much trash was out there , we filled a number of bright orange trash bags. There was quite an assortment of detritus including empty alcohol containers , food wrappers, pop cans and the occasional bits of clothing.
