Washington County Library offers online programs for residents to enjoy at home! Registration is required so that participants receive the link to join virtually. In addition to featured events, book clubs have transitioned to virtual meetings and storytimes premiere on the Library Facebook page every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.

Featured Events Story Stroll at the Oakdale Discovery Center, Monday, March 1 – Tuesday, March 16, at Oakdale Discovery Center, 4444 Hadley Ave. N, Oakdale. The title this month is “10 Rules of Being a Superhero” by Deb Pilutti. Walk and read along as you complete the story. All ages are welcome. No registration required.

Virtual: Measuring the Success of Your Website, 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 2. After setting up a website or blog, this online class will introduce users to methods for measuring the success of the website outreach. Set goals, learn about the functionality of Google Analytics, examine demographic data, and consider other outreach methods. Virtual Club Book: Claire Lombardo 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 18. Join Club Book and Washington County Library for a virtual evening with Claire Lombardo. Lombardo is author of “The Most Fun We Ever Had,” which follows the fortunes and factious relationships of four sisters over five decades. The Chicago Tribune, People magazine, and Good Housekeeping singled out “The Most Fun We Ever Had” as one of the best books of summer 2019; the book is being adapted for an HBO series. This event will be on Facebook. No registration required. This project was funded with money from Minnesota’s Art and Cultural Heritage Fund.
