Join us in singing, talking, reading, writing, and playing at this inclusive, lap sit Storytime for families with children ages 0-3. This is a time for you and your baby to bond with one another through early literacy activities. It's also an opportunity for you to meet new friends in a welcoming environment; recommended for soon-to-be parents, developmental ages 0-3, and their grown-ups (siblings always welcome). You are encouraged to attend the Storytime that best meets your family’s developmental needs. Registration is not required.

Bruce the Bug Guy

Ready for some ENTO-tainment? Join us for a lively, hands-on program with Bruce the Bug Guy. Dr. Bruce Giebink will bring live critters (insects and arthropods) to our large meeting room. This program is a unique opportunity to experience fascinating creatures close-up; recommended for ages 3 and up.
STEM Thursday: Brick Build and Smash Challenge
1:30-3 p.m. - R. H. Stafford Library, 8595 Central Park Place, Woodbury
Kids ages 6 and up, drop by for a special spring break STEM program. We will have loads of bricks for you to build to your heart's content. For an extra kick, we will test your engineering by dropping your construction from a ladder.
Contraption Club

Children ages 9-12 are welcome to use a variety of technologies including 3D printers, a Glowforge laser cutter, a Cricut machine, an embroidery machine, TinkerCad, AdaFruit, and much more. No prior experience is required, librarians are on hand to assist you with the project of the day or free exploration.
Littles Make Stuff: Watercolor Wonder Lanterns
6-7 p.m. - Park Grove Library, 7900 Hemingway Ave. S., Cottage Grove
Join us for an art program for children ages 4-8. We will decorate paper lanterns with watercolors to celebrate Holi, the festival of colors. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required. One lantern per child. Please register each child separately if you will be bringing more than one.
Full Moon Hike
6:15 p.m. – Pine Point Regional Park, 11900 Norell Ave. N., Stillwater
Embark on a magical journey through the sights and sounds as the sun gracefully sets. This leisurely hike invites you to immerse yourself in the enchanting ambiance of the park during the twilight hours. Bring along headlamps or flashlights as you traverse the park’s trails, discovering the subtle beauty and tranquility that emerges when the sun goes down. This is a free program with vehicle permit ($7/ daily and $30/ annual).

Preschool Story Time – Syrup Season

These programs introduce children ages 2-5 to nature in a fun and safe environment. Listen to stories, spend time outdoors, make a craft and meet CNC’s live animals. Sewing Machine Lab! Intermediate Pajama Pants
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Park Grove Library, 7900 Hemingway Ave. S., Cottage Grove
Join us for a chance to build on your sewing machine skills in this intermediate class. If you have taken our beginner sewing machine classes or have previous sewing machine experience, then this class will teach you skills to use a pattern and sew a pair of pajama pants. We will learn the proper way to measure to pick out the correct pattern size, lay out the pattern correctly, cut the pattern pieces out, and sew it together to make a pair of pajama (lounge) pants or shorts. All supplies, including sewing machines, will be provided. Fabric and patterns will also be available, or you can bring your own. For adults and high schoolers. Registration required.

AARP Free Tax Assistance

Meet with a volunteer AARP Tax Aide who will help you prepare your income taxes for 2024 free of charge on Mondays through April 15. A limited number of spaces are available. You'll need to bring all of your financial documentation with you (W2s, 1099s, etc.). Each appointment is expected to last around 90 minutes. This program is open to tax filers of all ages. St. Patrick’s Day Skate and Ice Paint!

No prior D&D experience is needed, but we will not make exceptions to the minimum age requirement to ensure the best experience for everyone involved. All materials are provided by R.H. Stafford Library and Woodbury & East Metro Homeschool Club, but participants are welcome to bring their own Player's Handbook, character sheets, and dice.
