This is your early season reminder, effective November 1, 2021, until March 31, 2022, there is no on street parking any time of day during a snow event until the plows have cleared the street. Cottage Grove public works considers a snow event anytime there is two inches of accumulation or more. At that point in time, public works will begin the process of clearing the roads and trails.
You can make this job easier for everyone by keeping your vehicles parked in your driveways. Another way to help is to keep your trash cans out of the street and back from the curb line about a foot. Anything further and the trucks cannot reach them safely. Look for more winter tips as we get closer to actually getting the dreaded s-word and stay safe out there!
