Park’s offensive struggles continued Friday as the Wolfpack fell in Suburban East Conference girls' basketball 56-38 at White Bear Lake.
The Wolfpack has cracked 50 points just once in the last seven games, going 2-5 during that stretch.
White Bera Lake led just 29-25 at the break, but then outscored Park 27-13 in a dominate second half to earn the win.
Sophomore guard Tea Alvarenga scored 14 points and Olivia Czarnota 12 to lead Park offensively.
Park (9-14, 5-11) has two games on tap to close out the regular season. The Wolfpack hosts North St. Paul (8-12) in a non-conference meeting Wednesday, then wraps up SEC play at Woodbury (10-14, 5-11) on Friday.
East Ridge 54, Park 19
East Ridge held Park to a season low 19 points in a 54-19 victory during Suburban East Conference girls' basketball on Wednesday evening.
The host Raptors led 24-9 at the half, then outscored the Wolfpack 30-10 after the break.
Graycie Smith led Park with 8 points, but no other Park player had more than 5.
The loss snapped a two-game winning streak by the Wolfpack and pushed Park’s record to 5-10 in the SEC and 9-13 overall.
East Ridge remained atop the SEC at 15-0 and went to 16-7 on the season.
Thunderbolts romp past Owatonna
The South Washington County Thunderbolts romped to an easy 10-1 win over visiting Owatonna to wrap up the regular season in varsity floor hockey Thursday afternoon at Woodbury.
The Thunderbolts went 6-2 during the regular season, losing only at Stillwater/Mahtomedi and at New Prague. At home, the team recorded victories with scores of 11-1, 10-7, 12-3 and 10-1.
South Washington County finished second in the CI South Division.
