Fifth-ranked Park junior Gunnar Mullen pinned his way to the title at 152 pounds and a 37-4 season record Saturday at the Pine Island Tournament.

It was also another weekend, another team title, for the Park Wolfpack. Last weekend the Wolfpack claimed the team championship in the South St. Paul tournament.

Park’s 10th-ranked Landen Brooks at 127 pounds and fourth ranked Zack Carr at 139 pounds also won tournament titles Saturday. Kyler Jubinal at 133, Dylan Richardson at 160 and Sam Lankow at 172 had second-place finishes. Jaxon Jubinal was fifth at 107, Joey Chilton fifth at 145, Fiyin Taiwao fifth at 189 and Jairus Boston sixth at 215.

Mullen scored falls in 36 seconds, 1:24 and 1:39 en route to the 152-pound crown.

Park finished first in he Pine Island Tournament Saturday, scoring 185.5 points to earn the championship.

Rochester Mayo was second with 171 points, followed by: 3, Pine Island, 158.5; 4, Lakeville South, 121.0; 5, Lewiston-Alture-Rushford-Peterson 112; 6, St. Charles, 80.5; 7, Trinity School at River Ridge, 73.5; 8, Zumbrota-Mazeppa 62.5; 9, Fillmore C-Lanesboro-MC Wolves 57; 10, Wabasha-Kellogg, 52; 11, Blair-Taylor, 49; 12, Austin, 35.5 and 13, la Crescent-Hokah, 30.

Ella Hammergren of Park finished third and Allison Maxey was sixth at 130 pounds in the girls events.

Samuel Lankow at 172 pounds and Jesse Wright at 215 had falls as Park pinned host Rosemount 42-22 in a dual meet Thursday. Kyler Jubinal (133, 11-2), Joey Chilton (152, 12-2) and Gunnar Mullen (160, 12-4) all scored major decisions for the Wolfpack.
