On Sept. 6, 2022, a report of theft occurring within the city of Burnsville was received. According to the complaint, the reporting party stated that a bag full of work tools was stolen from his vehicle. An investigation into this report revealed that Jones took the tools without the permission of the victim.
Jones admitted to taking the tools and returned them after he was questioned by law enforcement. A court summons was issued.
