The 4th of July Parade Afton Schooner Band invites instrumentalists above fiffh grade and all skill levels to play among experienced volunteer band members, beginning with the first rehearsal on Thursday, June 27. Two additional rehearsals are on July 1 and 3. All begin at 7 p.m. at the Afton Historical Museum on the main street through town.
On July 4, the band will gather at 11:30 a.m. for a short rehearsal and decorating the band’s float. The parade starts at 1 p.m.
