CG pickleball leagues begin at new Glacial Valley Park

Registration for pickleball leagues is now open with play beginning on July 9. Leagues offered provide competitive and recreational play amongst its users and include men's, women's, and mixed leagues.
Leagues are held at Glacial Valley Park and run from 6–10 p.m., and feature a round robin style format with league standings. Participants will play two games per night with three sets for each game. Sessions will run for five weeks with a single elimination tournament on Week 6. There are 12 teams per league. Each team can consist of up to four players. Please register for the level that best fits your playing skill. The team cost is $80.

Not looking to join a league but love to play? Join the Pickleball Club. Created as a social organization, being a part of the club provides members with priority court use and times at Glacial Valley and Granada Park. The membership fees are good for the entire season and give access to the use of balls and other equipment. Additional offerings and opportunities throughout the season for club members may become available as well. Registration for the club is required. The City of Cottage Grove has a five-member Pickleball Advisory Board that advises and makes recommendations on current and future operations of pickleball in Cottage Grove. Located at 9900 Ravine Parkway, Glacial Valley Park is Cottage Grove's newest community park that features six brand new, outdoor, fenced-in courts. The park also includes a large 4,000 square foot building that is designed for multi-use programming and rentals.
