Visiting Cretin-Derham Hall flexed their gymnastics muscles Thursday, sweeping the top three spots in the all-around and handed host Park a dual meet loss.
Cretin-Derham Hall won the meet 135.600 to 127.825.
Cretin’s Leah DiNardo (35.625), Delaney Cunningham (34.725) and Anna Lentz (33.250) went 1-2-3- in the all-around. Park’s Emily Dahlstrom finished fourth in the all-around with a score of 32.650. Ashley Davis was fifth with a 32.550 and Natalya Rugel sixth with a 31.200.
Rugel finished third on the vault with a score of 8.825. Davis was fourth with an 8.525 and Dahlstrom sixth with an 8.250.
Davis topped Park’s gymnasts on bars, scoring an 8.225 and finishing fourth. Dahlstrom was fifth with a 7.700 and Natalie Peters seventh with a 6.900.
Dahlstrom’s third-place finish on the beam with a score of 8.225 led Park in that event. Clara Opichka finished sixth with a 7.9 and Davis was seventh with a 7.650.
Dahlstrom finished fourth on the floor, scoring an 8.475. Opichka took fifth with an 8.325 and Rugel was sixth with an 8.175.
Park competes Saturday, Jan. 13, in the 16-team Lakeville North Invitational, starting at noon.
