Lemay, Norgaard lead Park girls swimming

Wolfpack senior Afton LeMay finished first in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:14.83 Tuesday as Park swimmers and divers competed against visiting East Ridge at Cottage Grove Middle School pool.

East Ridge won the dual meet, 104-74.

Park senior Amber Norgaard was second in both the 200-yard freestyle in 2:04.94 and the 500-yard freestyle in 5:38.14.

Sarah Weston was second in diving with a score of 191.15. Kaylynn Sowada was second in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:21.85. Zoe Pfeiffer took fourth in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:11.91. Alayna Faletti was third in the 100-yard freestyle in 59.98.

Park was second in the 200-yard medley relay with the team of Pfeiffer, LeMay, Faletti and Ella Langness finishing in 2:05.23. The Wolfpack team of Faletti, LeMay, Langness and Norgaard was third in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:48.97. Park’s Norgaard, Sowada, Ellie Imdieke and Danika Rowan clocked a time of 4:13.40 in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Park will host Roseville in another Suburban East Conference meet Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Cottage Groce Middle School pool, starting at 6 p.m.
