Rose of Sharon Lutheran sought to show its gratitude recently with a chicken dinner and trimmings for police, fire, and other city workers on Thursday, Oct. 24.
Founded in the mid twentieth century, Rose of Sharon Lutheran is located at 6875 Jamaica Avenue South in Cottage Grove. The chicken dinner is staffed by paid kitchen staff, being the congregation’s way of showing appreciation to city staff.
Now over for the present, the annual Rose of Sharon Lutheran Chicken Dinner returns next year.
