Salon Fusion is new and improved, the Cottage Grove Area chamber holding a ribbon cutting on Thursday, March 5 at 3 p.m.
Now located in Suite 101 at 7750 Harkness Avenue South, Salon Fusion is open Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., as well as Fridays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Designed as a haven for salon services, the outlet offers women’s and men’s haircuts along with specialized services like luxury head spa treatments and advanced facials, as well as balayage, fashion color, kerastase fusio-dose treatments, and Brazilian blowouts. Initially opened at Cottage Grove in 2024, Salon Fusion also offers bridal hair and makeup to that special day unforgettable.
Cottage Grove Mayor Myron Bailey led out remarks Thursday.
“So welcome everyone,” he said. “And you can see we have a big group surrounding me today. I am here with Sydney Niles…she is with Salon Fusion here in Cottage Grove. And what we’re doing today is we’re celebrating the Grand—I’ll say reopening and expansion as they move to a new location in Cottage Grove, in the same center where they were, just in a bigger spot.”
Now offering expanded services, Salon Fusion has added a clothing boutique and in house coffee shop.
Bailey thanked Niles for investing in the community.
“I just want to say on behalf of everyone in Cottage Grove; One, thank you for investing in our community and creating a great place for people to come get their hair done, nails done, facials done, all that fun stuff. And now boutique and grab your coffee…I just want to say thank you for investing and we’re very excited for this expansion that you’re going through.”
Cottage Grove Area Chamber President Laurie Levine shared words as well on Salon Fusion opening.
“So I am a Salon Fusion super fan,” she said. “Getting my nails done right after this. So excited about that. But Sidney, we just want to say on behalf of the Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Women in Business organization, we’re so excited to have you just growing here in your location and just so proud of what you’ve done here. So congratulations!”
Niles also gave remarks prior to the ribbon cutting.
“I just wanted to say thank you everyone for coming. We appreciate a new re-grand opening. I’m just going to give you a little location update. With that the ribbon was cut, followed by treats and business tours follwoign.
