The number of occupants in the vehicle was not available, but at least on person is expected to be charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by an ineligible person. The later of the two charges indicate that the person has a prior felony and is no longer allowed to possess a firearm in any way. The Journal spoke with Chief Jessica Danberg for additional details, but she was not able to comment on an open investigation. Expect more details as they are released later this week.
