Cottage Grove UCC Farmer’s Market is opening 2:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 22. Join fellow community members every Thursday this summer through Oct. 12 at the United Church of Christ parking lot for plenty of veggies, local honey, farm-fresh eggs, handmade soaps and lotions, fair trade coffee, flowers, perennials, jams and more.
According to the Sherri Wohlers, CGUCC Market Manager, bring your knives to get sharpened by the Edge Mobile Knife Sharpening crew, and grab some dinner from on-site food trucks, including eggrolls and fried rice dishes from the Eggroll Queen. The CGUCC crew will be serving up fresh-grilled hot dogs and brats, and ice cream treats including root beer floats. Homemade goodies such as cookies, bars, pies and brownies, can be found at the Church Ladies Bake Sale.
Other vendors include Udder Hills Meats, Timothy Vang Produce, MN Hemp Company, Rush River Maple Farms, Mac’s Sweet Corn, Santa Martha Café, Pet Wants Woodbury, Laemmie Greenhouse, Joel’s Farm Fresh Eggs, Marier Ventures LLC and more.
The CGUCC Farmer’s Market is located at Cottage Grove United Church of Christ at 7008 Lamar Ave. S. across from the Lamar Ball Fields. If there are any questions, contact Sheri Wohlers at cguccmarket@gmail.com.
