The work continues on improvements for South Washington County Schools. Included in agenda items for the Thursday, Feb. 19 school board meeting are two bids for Grey Cloud Elementary, in the amounts of $158,900 and $20,300 respectively.
The bid for $158,900 from H2I Group Inc. is for resilient athletic flooring, while the $20,300 bid is from Gustav & Rudy Contractors Inc., listed for signage. A competing bid of $151,748 by Dynamic Sports for resilient athletic flooring was rejected by construction company Kraus Andersen due to proposing a non-specified and approved product.
The bids by H2I Group Inc. and Gustav & Rudy Contractors Inc. were recommended by Kraus Andersen for approval.
Also on the school board agenda for Feb. 19 are work bids related to addition and renovation work at East Ridge High School, in the amount of $1,130,839. Bid awards up for board consideration Thursday related to East Ridge High School are as follows:
