National Letter of Intent Signing Day

February 5th was the first day of the regular signing period for students to sign a National Letter of Intent to participate in inter-collegiate athletics next year. Park High School had five student-athletes signing on this day.

Tyler Bonin has committed to play golf at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith. Tyler will be a four-year letter winner in golf and is a two-time All- Conference selection. He finished first in the SEC as a sophomore and fourth as a junior. Bonin also had success this past summer in US Jr. Amateur qualifier tournaments.

Football player Miskir Esayas will commit to play at Southwest Minnesota State University. Miskir was a three-year letter winner in football. He earned All-District honors as a senior as the starting quarterback. He threw for a total of 2,566 yards and 24 touchdowns throughout his career. Esayas also plays basketball and runs track for the Wolfpack.


Dominic Jenkins will sign to run track at the University of St. Thomas. Dom finished in tenth place in the 400 meters at the state track meet last spring. He earned All-Conference honors as a junior. Jenkin’s PR time of 49.54 earned him third place in the section meet and places him second on the Park all-time honor roll for the 400 meter run.


Golfer Mac Maluski has committed to golf at the University of Jamestown. Mac earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors as a junior in golf. He also participated in soccer and basketball for the Wolfpack, where he served as a caption in both sports and was named All-Section in soccer while leading the team to a fourth-place finish in the state tournament as a junior.

Bryan Wright will sign to play football at Southwest Minnesota State University. Bryan was a three-year letter winner in football. He earned All- District honors his junior and senior seasons. Wright played on both sides of the ball for the Wolfpack, but shined the most in the defensive backfield, where he accumulated 83 tackles and six interceptions. He also participates in track and field for Park.


A brief signing ceremony was held at Park on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. Each coach spoke about their student, the athletes said a few words and then signed their National Letter of Intent. The parents will hosted a small reception following the ceremony.
