An open house to review plans and receive public comment on the project team’s recommended design for a realignment of County Road 19A/100th Street from Highway 61 to Jamaica Avenue will be 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at the Washington County Cottage Grove Service Center.
The service center is at 13000 Ravine Parkway S. in Cottage Grove.
The realignment would be from County Road 19A/100th Street Realignment from Highway 61 to Jamaica Avenue South. Washington County conducted a study on the feasibility and alignment options for a county roadway connection from Highway 61 to Lower Grey Cloud Island in 2021. The study results are available on the county website www. co.washington.mn.us by searching Southwest Arterial Study.
The Feb. 2 open house will continue the public discussion regarding plans for the new roadway. There is also an opportunity to leave comments on the county website. There will not be a formal presentation so visit as you are able.
