Washington County is encouraging voters to cast absentee ballots or vote in-person early for the Nov. 3 Presidential Election.

For all in-person voting, health precautions will be taken at the county’s polling places. Voters will be required to wear masks, and hand sanitizer will be provided. Surfaces will be disinfected throughout the day, and social distancing will be encouraged.

For those who have applied – or intend to – at mnvotes.org, many ballots have been sent out and returned already. The absentee ballots can be returned via U.S. Mail or they can be dropped off at the county’s five in-person absentee voting locations.

The five locations are: Cottage Grove Service Center, 13000 Ravine Parkway, Cottage Grove.

Oakdale City Hall, 1584 Headley Ave. N, Oakdale.

Headwaters Service Center, 19955 Forest Road N., Forest Lake.

Washington County Government Center, 14949 62nd St. N., Stillwater.

Woodbury Central Park/ R.H. Stafford Library, 8595 Central Park Place, Woodbury.

Early in-person voting can be done at those locations, from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 and from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Monday Nov. 2.

If you’re waiting to drop off your absentee ballot until election day, it needs to be dropped off at the Washington County Government Center in Stillwater prior to 3 p.m.

Polls are open on Election Day from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
