Omot, Jameson lead Wolfpack track at True Team meet

Park’s Rainna Jameson placed in all three jumps to lead the Park Wolfpack track and field Tuesday in the Section 2AAA True Team meet in Eagan.

Jameson was fourth in the high jump (4-10), fourth in the triple jump (33-00) and sixth in the long jump (15-11.5).

Park’s 4×100 team finished fourth in 53.24, the 4×200 foursome was sixth in 1:51.58 and the 4×800 team fifth in 11:03.22.

Zoey Bammert-Mueller (31-05.75) took fifth and Anna-Marie Larsen (28-09.5) was eighth in the shot put. Larsen (81-09) was ninth in the discus. Kylie Dahm (8-6) and Susan Mbu (8-6) finished sixth and seventh, respectively, in the pole vault. Tori Stepka was ninth in the 400 (1:04.72), Morgan Eberwine was ninth in the high jump (4-6).

Junior OT Omot won the high jump with a leap of 6-2 to lead the Wolfpack boys in the meet. Omot also finished 10th in the long jump (18-10.25).

Mason Allen got sixth in the high jump (5-10), Brady Perryman was ninth in the triple jump (40-03), Treyton Bammert-Mueller was eighth in the discus (127-03).

Park’s 4×800 team finished fourth in 9:13.75, the 4×400 team was sixth in 3:51.43.

Park’s boys finished seventh in the team race with 355 points while the girls’ team was eighth with 425.5 points.

Jameson scores a triple at Simley

Rainna Jameson won the long jump (15-06) and the triple jump (34-05) with season best efforts, and also finished first in the high jump (5-00), while Andrew Drager won the boys high jump (5-8) Saturday in the Simley Invitational.

Sophomore Emma Taschner finished first in the girls 200-meter dash in 27.60 in her first crack at the race this season. She was also fourth in the 100 in 13.30.

Park was fourth in both the 12-team boys and the girls team races.

Brady Perryman (39-05), Skylar Morgan (37-01) and Paul Giadyu (36-10) went two-three-four in the triple jump. Perryman was second in the long jump (19-00) and Morgan seventh (17-05.5).

Parker Hahn was second in the 800 in a season’s best time of 2:09.35. Brandon Carver finished seventh in the same race in 2:15.48. Gavin Stauffer finished third in the 1,600-meter run in 4:54.98. Dominic Jenkins was ninth in the 200 (24.75). Evan Drummond was third in the high jump (5-08). Tayvion Stewart was ninth in the high jump (5-2). Evan Jensen was eighth in the shot put (34-05.5).

In the relays, Park was second in the 4×100 (46.38) and the 4×400 (3:49.19), fourth in the 4×200 (1:40.22), sixth in the 4×800 (9:15.45).

Tori Stepka (2:33.76) was third and Lydia Best ninth (2:47.25) in the girls 800-meter run. Ellen Jensen was third in the 400 in 1:07.28).

Savannah Brown was seventh in the pole vault (7-00). Gabrielle Turvold placed seventh in the discus (78-08) and Anna-Marie Larsen was ninth in (73-00). Larsen finished fourth in the shot put (29-00) and Karis Waindim was ninth (26-00). Elizabeth Ayala took eighth in the 100-meter hurdles (19.19) Park’s relays were fourth in the 4×400 (4:37.72) and seventh in the 4×100 (58.65).
