The Social Justice Commission of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in St. Paul Park will be hosting a one-day retreat on Care for Creation. It will be held in the parish Activities Building Hall at 920 Holley Ave. from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7.
The event will be facilitated by the Archdiocesan Creation Care team members, Sr. Kathleen Storms and Fr. Kevin Clinton. The retreat will be followed by a Mass at 4 p.m. where Fr. Clinton will deliver the homily. All are invited and welcome to attend.
The day is planned to give participants time to join together to renew our shared efforts to care for our common home. Lunch will be served. Please RSVP to the parish office (651-459-2131) by Oct. 2 so we can plan for how many are coming. The event is free, but a free will offering will be taken to help defray expenses.
