On June 10, the St. Paul Saints will be hosting the Iowa Cubs at 8 p.m. for a ballgame at CHS Field in St. Paul. In a partnership with Discover Cottage Grove, the team will also be hosting Cottage Grove Community Night, celebrating the city and what it has to offer.
Beginning before the game at 7 p.m., Cottage Grove residents can gather with city officials and fans from around the metro in the outdoor community setting of the ballpark, while learning about upcoming city events and taking in a game.
Tickets to the game can be purchased at Ticketmaster, TicketSales.com, and various other sporting ticket sources.
A chance to win four free tickets is still available through the Discover Cottage Grove Photo Contest. Anyone interested in entering can submit their photos showing any moments, scenery, or events that they feel reflect the city. All submissions must be high-quality photos taken in Cottage Grove and must be solely the work of the submitting photographer with no logos or trademarks. The deadline for submission is Friday, May 26. To enter the photo contest, go to discovercottagegrove.com/photo-contest.
Mayor Myron Bailey said of the Community Night event, “There is no better way to welcome in the warm weather than with America’s favorite pastime - baseball.”
