Ashati S. Bloodsaw, 26, Stillwater, was charged in Dakota County District Court on Monday, June 26 with felony theft over $1,000 up to $5,000.
On June 7, officers from the Eagan Police Department responded to a past action theft report from a department store in Eagan. It was reported that on June 2, two female suspects entered the store and worked together to select numerous items of boys clothing, place them in their shopping carts, and exit the store without attempting to purchase or put back the unpaid merchandise. The unpaid merchandise totaled $1,039.20.
The department store was able to identify the suspects after they were trespassed from and identified at another store location. Security footage images were compared to driver’s licenses, and it was confirmed that one of the suspects was Bloodsaw. A court summons was issued.
