This is a time for you and your baby to bond with one another through early literacy activities. Life Skills for Young Adults: Healthy Relationships

February may be known as the month of love, but it is also teen dating violence awareness month. For February's life skills workshop, Washington County 4H and the library are joined by Canvas Health to learn about healthy relationships. Learn what to look for in a healthy, equitable relationship and skills you can be using to be a better friend and partner within your own relationships. This event is for high school-aged youth (ages 14-18).

Program fee is $15 per person, $10 for Friends of CNC, or free for Frosty 40 participants.

Blizzard Bash

Sample the best of winter at the Blizzard Bash. Regardless of the amount of snow, the wonder of the season is alive and well. Bring your furry friends along for a leisurely stroll amidst the frosty landscape. Participate in an ice fishing program from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (weather dependent). Enjoy a self-guided story stroll set up Washington County Library. Join us for a day of fun recreation activities including arts and crafts, free use of snowshoes and kick sleds, bonfire, and food trucks.
Learn to Ski
Noon to 2 p.m. – Lake Elmo Park Reserve, 1515 Keats Ave. N., Lake Elmo
Learn how to cross-country ski from Minnesota Youth Ski League's (MYSL) Lake Elmo SkiSparks Club. Lessons will go over basic striding techniques, how to fall safely, and more. There is no fee to participate. Vehicle permits and ski equipment for participants will be provided thanks to MYSL.

Winter Fun Fest
