Park’s divers led the way again as the Wolfpack competed in the 3AA True Team section meet at Edina Friday and Saturday.
Junior Ethyn Schilling finished second in diving with a score of 333.75, John Jaso was third (311.80) and Carter Darling seventh (255).
Senior Ethan Cole led Park’s swimmers with a third-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle in 52.91 and an eighth place in the 100-yard backstroke (1:03.98).
Paul Wallace was eighth in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:09.14 and 10th in the 50-yard freestyle (25.38). Tyler Cracauer finished sixth in the 100-yard backstroke (1:02.24). Damion Charpentier took seventh in the 100-yard butterfly (1:00.72). Lalee Yang was 12th in the 200-yard IM (2:17.86). Will Mann was 13th in the 500-yard freestyle (6:01.95).
Park was fifth in the 200-yard medley relay with the foursome of Cole, Wallace, Charpentier and Yang finishing in 1:51.38. The Wolfpack team of Charpentier, Wallace, Connor Racine and Zachary Wood was 11th in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:45.99. Park’s quartet of Racine, Yang, Cracauer and Cole was eighth in the 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:49.87.
East Ridge won the team race with 1,046 points, followed by Eagan, 949; Rosemount, 836; Park 573; Two Rivers, 495; and Hastings, 451.
East Ridge 97, Park 81
Divers Ethyn Schilling was first (231.75) and John Jaso second (200.45) to lead Park in a dual meet against East Ridge Thursday at Oltman Middle School.
Park’s team of Cole, Wallace, Charpentier and Yang was second in the 200-yard medley relay in 1:51.91. The Wolfpack foursome of Zachary Wood, Cole, Wallace and Charpentier swam a 3:51.35 race in the 400-freestyle relay.
Parker Stueber was third in the 200 freestyle (2:10.67), Cracauer second in the 200 IM (2:19.24), Cole was third in the 50 (24.19), Charpentier fourth in the butterfly (1:00.26) and second in the 500 (5:40.24), Yang fourth in the 100 (57.28).
Cole clocked a time of 1:01.58 in the 100-yard backstroke. Cracauer a 1:16.79 in the breaststroke,
Irondale 105, Park 81
Park’s team of Cole, Wallace, Charpentier and Yang won the 200-yard medley relay in 1:50.49 Tuesday, Jan. 13 at Cottage Grove Middle School. The team of Charpentier, Wood, Racine and Cracauer finished second in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:45.22)
Charpentier finished first in the 200 freestyle (2:02.73), Cole won the 50 (23.67) and was second in the 100 (51.81). Wallace won the breaststroke (1:09.91).
The Wolfpack divers swept with Schilling (243.10), Darling (195.80) and Jaso (186.40) going 1-2-3.
Yang was second in both the 200 IM (2:20.49) and the butterfly (1:00.90), Wallace took third in the 500 (6:04.93), Cracauer as second in the backstroke (1:05.40)
