ark bid farewell to several seniors, but the future looks bright for the Wolfpack swimmers and divers.

Seventh graders Chloe Micek and Grace Sahli, along with eighth grader Evelyn Sahli, all made a splash Friday in the final day of the MSHSL Girls Section 3AA meet at the Two Rivers High School Aquatic Center in Mendota Heights.

That trio is posed to make many more splashes in the years to come.

Park senior captains Alayna Faletti and Sarah Weston also bowed out in style.

Faletti finished ninth in the 50-yard freestyle, winning the B Final in a time of 26.03. She then placed sixth in the very next race, the 100-yard butterfly, in a time of 1:01.98.

Weston finished sixth in diving with a score of 313.85. Ruby Igl was eighth (291.00) and Isabelle Brown 16th (259.30).

Micek had one of Park’s top finishes as she placed fifth overall in the 100-yard backstroke, coming home in a time of 1:03.70. She was also 16th in the 100-yard freestyle in 58.94.

Grace Sahli took sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:13.68. Park also had two other finishers in the event. Evelyn Sahli was 12th in 1:18.25 and senior Marie Auerbach was 15th in 1:19.30.

“I'm just really proud of our team,” said Park head coach William Arnsparger. “We worked really hard to build a culture of resilience and positivity; that definitely translated into the pool on Wednesday and Friday.

“The girls swam free and truly raced with a clear tenacity that was special to watch,” Arnsparger continued. “Section finals was exactly the type of positive momentum that will hopefully lead us to success next season. I was really impressed with swims from Alayna Faletti in her 100-yard butterfly, Chloe Micek in her 100-yard backstroke, Grace Sahli in her 100-yard breaststroke and from our relay swimmers including Katelynn Norgard, Eraya Nybakken, Zoe Pfifer and Ellie Imdieke.”

Park was sixth in the 200-yard medley relay with the team of Micek, Grace Sahli, Faletti and Katelyn Norgaard finishing in 1:59.29. The Wolfpack team of Grace Sahli, Norgaard, Eraya Nybakken and Evelyn Sahli finished eighth in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:53.22. The Wolfpack wrapped up the meet with a seventh-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay with the quartet of seniors Faletti, Zoe Pfeiffer, Ellie Imdieke and seventh grader Micek finishing in 4:01.29.

Eastview won the team title with 419 points, followed by: 2, Rosemount, 392; 3, Hastings, 352; 4, Apple Valley, 252; 5, Two Rivers, 205.5; 6, Eagan, 180.5; 7, Park 154; and 8, Burnsville, 148.

Going into the section meet, Park had three athletes with SEC all-conference listings: 52, Alayna Faletti with a 26.76 in the 50 freestyle; 73rd, Chloe Micek with a 27.13 in the 50 freestyle and 108; Grace Sahli, a 1:16.11 in the 100 breaststroke.
