Boys' soccer team goes 1-1 on the week
High-powered Minnetonka did what high-powered Minnetonka usually does in boys' soccer, dominated.
The Minnetonka girls (3-1 on the season) came into Cottage Grove and rolled to a 6-1 win over the hose Park Wolfpack Thursday.
Minnetonka led 5-0 at the half. Park's lone goal came in the second half.

The Wolfpack got past visiting Minneapolis Washburn 1-0 at Cottage Grove Wednesday to improve to 2-1-1 this fall.
Park junior Kylee Nickle scored the game’s only goal in the second half. Nickle now has three goals on the young season. Abby Moua had an assist on the winning goal.

Park 5, Burnsville 0
After scoring just two goals in the first two games, Park’s offense ran wild Tuesday in a 5-0 win over host Burnsville in girls non-conference soccer.
It wasn’t quite the 10-0 beatdown the Wolfpack handed the Blaze a year ago, but after a slow start offensive in their first two games of the season, the Wolfpack will take a five-goal victory.
Gabby Faletti, Hanna Williams, Kylee Nickle, Ayla Lettner and Liya Bekele each scored a goal for Park. Faletti, Lettner and Tea Alvarenga had assists.
Paige Stewart (65 minutes) and Ainsley Lucas (15 minutes) shared the win in goal, both with a single save.
Park now goes to conference play, hosting Roseville (1-1-1) Thursday, then plays at Stillwater (4-0) Tuesday.
