Relay team win highlights Roseville meet
Park’s 400-yard freestyle team of Chloe Micek, Evelyn Sahli, Chloe Omtvedt and Grace Sahlu won in a time of 4:12.77 to highlight a conference dual meet at Roseville on Tuesday, Oct. 14.
Micek was second in the 200-yard freestyle (2:15.46) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:04.35).
Grace Sahli finished second in the 100-yard freestyle (1:00.44) and swam a 1:16,57 race in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Lyla Kopp was fourth in the 200-yard IM (2:53.85), Melanie Grochow was fourth in the 50 freestyle (29.96), Chloe Omtvedt finished second in both the 100-yard butterfly (1:20.33) and the 500-yard freestyle (6:35.23).
Park’s Ruby Igl finished second in one-meter diving with a score of 183.70. Isabelle Brown was third (177.15) and Claire Linscheid fourth (155.675).
Park was second in the 200-yard medley relay with the team of Chloe Micek, Grace Sahli, Evelyn Sahli and Katelyn Norgaard finishing in 2:05.60. The Wolfpack team of Omtvedt, Grochow, Kopp and Norgaard was third in the 200-yard freestyle (2:03.44)
Roseville won the meet 105-68.
Park hosts Mounds View Thursday, starting at 6 p.m.
Thunderbolts go to 5-0-1 on the season
South Washington County got back on the winning track with an 8-1 victory at Saint Paul Johnson Monday in adapted soccer.
The Thunderbolts improved to 50-1 on the season and are 2-0 against Johnson this fall.
After four straight wins to open the season, the South Washington County Thunderbolts drew a 5-5 tie at Dakota United Oct. 13.
The Thunderbolts play at Columbia Heights-St. Anthony-Fridley on Monday.
